Oliver Roofing Systems successfully completed a comprehensive 113,000 square foot TPO roof replacement and roof coating system for Tonalea Middle School, part of the Scottsdale Unified School District. This extensive project was executed with precision and attention to detail, ensuring the long-term protection and efficiency of the school’s facilities.
Scope of Work:
- Roof Replacement: The existing roofing system was carefully removed and replaced with a high-quality, durable TPO (Thermoplastic Olefin) membrane. TPO is known for its excellent energy efficiency, UV resistance, and long-lasting performance, making it the perfect solution for the school’s needs.
- Roof Coating System: Following the replacement, a state-of-the-art roof coating system was applied to enhance the roof’s durability and further improve energy efficiency. This coating provides an additional layer of protection against the harsh Arizona sun and inclement weather, extending the roof’s lifespan and reducing overall maintenance costs.
- Sustainable Practices: Throughout the project, Oliver Roofing Systems prioritized sustainability. The materials chosen were selected not only for their durability but also for their energy-saving properties, contributing to the school’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
The completion of this project provided Tonalea Middle School with a reliable, energy-efficient roofing system. The new TPO membrane, along with the advanced roof coating system, significantly enhances the school’s energy efficiency, lowers operational costs, and ensures a safe and secure environment for students and faculty for years to come.
